Judges’ Clinic with USA Yoga head judge Cynthia Wehr

USA Yoga Head Judge Cynthia Wehr will lead a 90-minute workshop focused on observing postures from the finalists during 2021 Nationals and providing feedback on how judges assess these postures. This program is intended for athletes looking to improve their performance, coaches who want to better assist their athletes in competition, and judges who want to finesse their skills. There will be a judges’ and coaches’ assessment offered after the clinic.  

Cynthia Wehr has been practicing yoga for 24 years and became a Bikram Yoga Teacher in Spring 2003. She won the World Yoga Champion title for the Bishnu Charan Ghosh Cup in 2007 and the USA National title in 2005 and 2007. She spent a lot of time teaching yoga in Tokyo, Japan before she opened Bikram Yoga Mountain View in 2011 which became Bomitra Yoga Mountain View in 2017. Cynthia has been judging yoga championships and coaching yoga athletes since 2008. She was a head judge during the 2020-2021 season and at 2021 Nationals. 

This program is the first step in becoming a certified USA Yoga judge or coach. Among other qualifications, you must also complete a judges' assessment.

Note: While this workshop is free for members, there is a $30 fee for the judges' assessment.  The judges' assessment will be available at the end of the judges' clinic.
