Sarah Gnerre - Board Member

Sarah Gnerre has been practicing yoga regularly for 10 years under Sara Curry and her team of talented teachers. For the last three she has been competing in the senior division.
Professionally, she is vice president of development for Anna Jaques Hospital, a 123-bed acute care community hospital. Since 2011, she led the completion of its $6.5M capital campaign. She and her team raised $1.85 million last year to support the hospital. In addition, working with clinical staff, she has won more than $2.6 million in State grants to fund hospital infrastructure projects. Prior to this, Sarah led individual fundraising at Bentley University. At University of New Hampshire she was director of the Peter T. Paul Challenge, a $50 million major gifts effort to establish the Paul College of Business and Economics. She has also raised funds for the arts and animals. She serves on the boards of Arts in Reach, mentoring teenage girls through the arts, and the John Greenleaf Whittier Home Museum. She regularly presents one-day development and grant-writing seminars. She holds a bachelor of science in business administration from UNH and earned an MBA in 2005.
She is a grandmother and lives in Portsmouth, NH with her husband, Chris Mulligan. Sarah helps the board with general planning and in particular with fund development.
